In recent days Microsoft Outlook has been the most widely used application for email exchange. There are other tools also available for emails like Gmail, lotus etc. Microsoft provides various platforms to use emails in any organization like O365, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook clients, Cloud based email etc. In this article, we will discuss a stepwise method of how to update the contact list in Microsoft Outlook 365. This requires especially when the offline contact list does not get updated and we need to have the latest contact list to be shown in the outlook.
Sometimes we face issues where Microsoft Teams Presence is missing in Outlook and we need to update the contact list to get the latest changes reflected in Outlook. Updating Contact List
Step1: File
Click the File tab of the outlook as shown below in the image
Step2: Account Settings
Navigate to “Account Settings” and then click to “Download Address Book“. Follow the steps as shown below in the image.
Step3: Download Address Book
Follow the steps shown below in the image to download the address book. Do not forget to check the box.
If you still can not see the udpated contact list then please allow it some time to sync and your all offline contacts will be downloaded and synced with your Outlook.
